Privacy Policy

Privacy & Messaging Policy for A2P Communications

Effective Date: October 8, 2025

1. Introduction & Scope

This Privacy & Messaging Policy (“Policy”) describes how Call Bill, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information through our website (https://lawcallbill.com) and through our A2P (automated or programmatic) messaging services (SMS, MMS, RCS, etc.). It also describes your rights and choices regarding that data and communications.

This Policy applies to all users, visitors, customers, and message recipients (“you,” “your”) who interact with our website or opt in to receive messages from us.

2. What Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information depending on how you use our services:

  • Contact / Identifier Data: Name, phone number, email address, mailing address.

  • Message Metadata: Timestamps, message logs (sent, delivered, failed, responses), device identifier (e.g. phone number, carrier).

  • Website Data: IP address, browser user agent, cookies, analytics, form input (e.g. if you comment, submit forms).

  • Comment Data: If you leave comments, we collect what you submit (name, email, website), plus your IP address and browser user agent.

We also collect non-personal or aggregated data (e.g. usage statistics).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • To send A2P communications (e.g. appointment reminders, alerts, notifications, marketing, legal updates) only if you have opted in.

  • To manage, monitor, and troubleshoot our messaging system, including delivery logs, bounce management, carrier filtering.

  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services (including analytics, debugging, performance monitoring).

  • To moderate and manage comments and user interactions.

  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, resolve disputes, and protect rights.

4. Opt-In, Opt-Out, and Consent for A2P Messages

4.1 Opt-In

You will receive A2P messages from us only after you have affirmatively consented (opted in), for example by checking a box, sending a keyword (e.g. “START”), or otherwise explicitly indicating your consent.

If you are under any age requirement (e.g. 13, 16, or 18 depending on jurisdiction), you must be of the required age to opt in.

We will maintain records of each opt-in transaction (timestamp, method, the consent message or form) as required under A2P rules.

4.2 Message Content & Limits

  • Messages will clearly identify the sender (Call Bill, LLC or other brand name).

  • The content will include clear, simple language and only deliver messages consistent with what was promised at opt-in.

  • We will comply with frequency limits and industry best practices (e.g. avoid sending too many messages in a short timeframe).

  • We will avoid message content that is misleading, spammy, or in violation of carrier or regulatory rules.

4.3 Opt-Out / STOP Mechanism

Every A2P message will contain clear instructions on how to opt out (e.g. “Reply STOP to unsubscribe”).
When you elect to opt out:

  • Your refusal is processed promptly (within required timeframe, e.g. 24 hours or less).

  • We will mark your number as unsubscribed and not send further messages unless you opt in again.

  • A confirmation opt-out message (if permitted) may be sent, stating you have been unsubscribed.

We will maintain a suppression list of opted-out numbers and check against this list before sending.

5. Sharing, Disclosure & Third Parties

We may share your information with third parties only under the following conditions:

  • Service Providers / Vendors: Messaging platforms, carriers, analytics providers, spam detection services — only as necessary to deliver or manage messages.

  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or to respond to lawful requests by public authorities.

  • Business Transfers: In the event of a sale, merger, reorganization, etc., your information may be transferred (with notice).

  • With Consent: Only if you explicitly authorize sharing for new purposes.

We will require third-party recipients to maintain the confidentiality and security of personal data and limit their use consistent with this Policy.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or to comply with legal obligations.

  • Messaging logs, opt-in/opt-out records, suppression lists, and metadata should be retained in accordance with applicable laws and carrier rules (e.g. typically several years).

  • Comment data is retained indefinitely (unless you request deletion).

  • If you request deletion (see Section 8), we will erase your personal data except for information we are legally obligated to keep (e.g. regulatory logs, transaction records).

7. Your Rights & Choices

You have certain rights regarding your personal information, subject to applicable law:

  • Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Correction: You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Deletion: You can request erasure of your data (unless we must retain for legal reasons).

  • Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw your consent to receive messages or processing activities.

  • Restrict/Limit Processing: In some cases, you can ask us to limit how we use your data.

  • Opt-Out of Marketing: You can refuse or unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time.

We use cookies, web beacons, analytics tools, and similar technologies on our website to store preferences, measure usage, and improve user experience.
